Our brief was to design a space to enable our client to conduct their growing relationships and business with their clients and partners while also showcasing their forward way of thinking.
Introducing a cafe culture and breaking away from the traditional meeting environment enabled visitors and employees to build relationships and work more effectively on collaborative projects. Cafe furniture and lounge spaces with loose rugs and feature planting create a domestic feel to the space. Feature timber and lights soften the exposed concrete ceiling.
Moving through to the working space, there is a central collaboration space with a large dining table, a semi-private booth and lockers for staff. The open plan workspace has height-adjustable workstations alongside high benches with draughtsman’s stools to enable people to work in the posture that suits them best. A mixture of meeting facilities including fixed rooms, lounge spaces, open meeting tables and individual telephone booths result in an agile space for this technology giant.
The client was rapidly growing out of the one floor it had in the building when the floor below became free. They jumped at the chance to turn this new area into an agile workplace for their sales team. The third-floor space was a completely blank canvas with grey carpet and a white suspended ceiling throughout.

This new environment will enable the client to showcase their products, using the open, friendly space to invite partners and customers to experience the agile workplace. This space is a fantastic reflection of the client’s approach, always learning and evolving their products and encouraging open conversation and development.
